My Love Life in New York?
There was none... But now I'm back home in Atlanta, where the food is good, the guys are country, and the sun is blazing. There's nothing like a summer fling, but when I'm home none of that even matters. Here's a cute song anyway. :-)

This Mixtape Right Here...
When my friend told me to download this mixtape earlier in the year, I never knew that I would fall in love. I can do anything to this music, and the mysterious vibe never gets old. Download! There are no official music videos yet, but here is an unofficial one [Via DeadlyRobotLove]. Also, be on the lookout for his upcoming mixtape: Thursday.

S.I.S. X Barbie
The Pastry So In Style (S.I.S.) line of African-American dolls by Barbie is finally here. Although I don't particularly get the urge to buy any of the Pastry products, I have the utmost respect for the movement. I salute these girls.
Where were these when I was a child?

Although I Always Thought It'd Be Va$htie...
WNBA's Maya Moore is the first female face of the Jordan Brand. She's got a lot going on for her, from being the number 1 draft pick to her new deal with Jordan! I always thought that Va$htie would be the first lady to sign with Jordan after designing for the line, but I can't knock Maya's hustle; she's definitely doing her thing. *applauds*

Favorite Songs That Finally Have Visuals.
California King Bed- Rihanna... Do I spy a new tattoo?
Super Bass - Nicki Minaj... loving the pink Dr. Martens and shorts look.
I have both of these albums, and I fell in love with these two tracks. I call songs like these 'hidden album songs': the songs that are better than the singles, and then get famous later. Love the videos.

Kanye West X M/M (Paris)
Today, Kanye West put out 5 silk scarves based on George Condo's paintings, named Power, Phoenix, Ballerina, Face, & Priest, and they're going for $364 each. Hmm...

My Interview with Kanayo Ebi
So I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to interview the fashionably talented Kanayo Ebi. She is a NYC based celeb stylist/image consultant who has worked with celebrities such as Angela and Vanessa Simmons, Adrienne Bailon and more.
Wardrobe Fam-At what moment in your life did you know that you wanted to pursue a career as a stylist?
Kanayo- I was just lead down the right path. I attended St. Johns University majoring in Psychology but fashion was always a hobby for me. My parents are African so being around another culture also helped me become more creative. In college, a lot of my friends were models so I used to style them for their photoshoots which was good practice for me and thats when my passion for fashion started.
Wardrobe Fam- Angela Simmons' style has to be one of my fashion inspirations. What inspires the look you provide for her?
Kanayo- Angela has her own style and a strong eye for fashion so dressing her is fun. She's very adventurous, diverse and likes to try new and different things. Her style is very fun, flirty and edgy. Angela is a petite girl so she wears alot of high heels for that extra height.
Wardrobe Fam-Did you have role models in the fashion industry growing up?
Kanayo- Yes. My mom and dad were very fashion aware. I used to pick out outfits for them to go to work in. I got inspired alot from the styles of Blondie, Rachael Zoe, Gwen Stefani and Cyndi Lauper.
Wardrobe Fam- What new trends do you predict will be showcased this year?
Kanayo- I predict alot of light colors, boho sheek, maxi skirts and dresses, harem pants, greys, nude and mixing and matching patterns.
Wardrobe Fam-If you could change anything about the fashion industry what would it be?
Kanayo-The fashion world can be superficial sometimes and I wish more people could work with each other. Also, there's not enough fashionable plus size clothing and that needs to change.
Wardrobe Fam-What advice would you give to young adults interested in entering the fashion industry?

Step Inside My Wardrobe
So since it's Spring I figured why not do a fun photoshoot wearing nothing but my cool thrift store pieces...yes thrift store. I've been so accustomed to thrifting I barely shop in the mall anymore. Every piece I'm wearing (minus shoes) is under $10. Photography by Jazmine Dooley @DeathlyFlowers1 via Twitter.
