I Guess It's Bittersweet Poetry

       

       

       

       

       

This week I finally visited Bard College, where I'll be attending school next year in New York (thanks to the  great Posse Foundation for my full-tuition scholarship). I must say it was a reality check. To get to the school, I have to take a 2 hour flight, followed by a 2 hour drive. It's like I entered a new world, a winter wonderland, without the Southern hospitality of Atlanta. It's beautiful up there though, and it has the usual perks of college, but I will be 960 miles away from everything I know. Sigh. I've got 5 months left to live (in ATL).

I just got home from the 2010 Gavel Club Speak-Off, and I got first place in the beginners category for my (-->) Simple Things (<--) speech.... Score! =]

The winner of the advanced speakers was only 14 years old, and she was amazing. She based her speech off of a great quote:

 "It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness."

He's young, but he's good. This is a good video for Justin Bieber, he looks more like 16, insted of his usual 12. When I disregard Ludacris, the video's pretty cool, even with the random jerking and Drake & Lil' Twist appearances. Plus, Bieber's wearing Supras. :)

Snow in ATL

Today was a bittersweet day in Atlanta. It's weird, because just this morning I was at the park filming, and then by mid-day, I was rushing home with my best friend to beat the snowflakes. Despite how annoying snow can be when it comes to driving (my mom couldn't even make it up the driveway) and finding a way to leave the house, I had a great time admiring the beauty from afar. I just hope that the snow doesn't ruin the Valentine's Day weekend and break from school... Bee's lucky; it's not snowing in Valdosta.

Life as ME

Hey it's me BEE! So Im back fellow bloggers.I couldnt leave my {kim} standing alone. Haven't blogged in a while, because {college} really took a toll on me. It can be the most stressful experience or the most fun experience from late night study sessions, partying, meeting new people, and schoolwork, blogging can become kinda forgetful but I apologize 2 my {wardrobe fam}{:)}. Ok now back 2 my life...my college experience is very...hmmm...{interesting}. I grew up faster, met the most coolest friends, and accomplished a lot of goals. Being in college also makes you look at the world different and remember whats important in life like helping others and helping yourself become a better person. Well on that note im getting sleepy, gotta {study} and pack...returning 2 my {college life} 2morrow :-))

About three things I was absolutely positive.

First, Edward was a vampire.

and I didn't know how dominant that part might be---

And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

For the past two Fridays nights, I've watched the movie 'Twilight' with a different set of my friends, and I swear I see something new in that movie each time (I finally noticed that the book cover of someone holding an apple was a scene in the movie). I'm kind of in love with the saga; I'm reading 'New Moon' now. I'm starting a little tradition: See the movie once, buy the novel, read the novel, then watch the movie thousands of times. ;P
