Barbies?... or Ragdolls?
First off let me say that I love Nicki Minaj. When I first heard her a couple of years ago, I really thought she was the male version of Lil' Wayne, and everything she said I wanted to make into a Facebook status. The only problem is, I had so much more love for her before she was mainstream. The whole barbie thing was pretty cool, and she played the role well.
Now, imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, but too much of it is just overwhelming. I'm starting to see more and more young females with a bang, pink highlights, and actually referring to themselves as barbies. Nicki Minaj encourages it too. I'd like to see how big her army of 'barbs' gets.

Just Lovely
If you haven't already seen the movie The Lovely Bones, you should. I just saw it this weekend with a couple of my bestfriends, and it was great. There's just something about a realistic movie that gets me. I'm definitely going to have to buy the novel now. Not only was the story line lovely, but the actors and actresses were as well (especially Reece Ritchie).

First off let me say that December 2009 has been a crazy month. Just crazy. A lot of good and a lot of bad came from this month; I guess you can call it bittersweet. So, I have to tell you something... Do you want the good news first or the bad news?

HYPE
I just found my poetry project from my World Literature class and it wasn't half bad! I'm really hype right now, I'm going to share with you. :D Here's my sonnet.
Heartbreak
I know that I have said this many times
But now I’m really sure about my claim
Your actions towards me were just like crimes
A vicious monster is what you became
I will no longer put up with your mess
You cannot just do things and not think first
Since all you did was leave me with some stress
My anger inside has finally burst
No longer will you play that same old game
Because I won’t be here for you to use
And you’re to blame. I waited; what a shame
And when you’ll want me back, I will refuse
I am leaving you now for my own sake
I know I can’t take more of this heartbreak

YOURSELF - I would like to change my name. I'm loud. I'm obnoxious. I'm sarcastic. I'm cocky. I have a bad temper. For the most part, I don't like most people. I'm easy to get along with. I like to fight. I have more enemies than friends. I drink coffee. I clean my room daily. My room always looks like a tornado hit it.
APPEARANCE - I'm shorter than 5'2. I wear makeup. I wear a piece of jewelry at all times. I wear contacts. I wear/need glasses. I currently have braces. I change my hair color often. I either straighten or curl my hair often. I have piercings that aren't in my ears. My ears are pierced.
RELATIONSHIPS - I'm in love. I'm scared of being hurt. I've been hurt. An ex has physically abused me at least once. I've been cheated on in a relationship. I've told someone I loved them when I didn't. I've told someone I didn't love them when I did. I've been in love more than three times. I believe in love at first sight. I believe lust is more important than love.
FRIENDSHIPS - I've gotten a phone call in the last 24 hours from a friend. I've beaten up a friend. I've been in a serious fight with a friend. I can trust at least five people with my life. I'd give my life to save a best friend.

I've gone bungee jumping. I've made a speech. I've been in some sort of club. I've won an award. I've spent 24 hours on the computer straight. I've been so angry I've punched a hole in the wall. I've been in a physical fight.
MUSIC - I listen to country music. I listen to pop music. I listen to rap. I listen to techno. I listen to R&B. I listen to punk. I'm one of those people who play songs repeatedly until I hate it. I hate the radio. I download music. I buy CD's.
TELEVISION - I spend at least six hours a day watching television. I watch soap operas daily. I'm in love with Days Of Our Lives. I've seen and love The OC. I've seen and like One Tree Hill.
